Gillian is a comfy, quick-knit peplum cardigan named after style icon Gillian Anderson. There are two versions, both of which are based on the basic cardigan. After the shoulders and seamless yoke have been worked, Version A increases in one row at the high waist for a subtle, hardly noticeable peplum. Version B brings the drama and structure of a gored peplum that increases over several rows. Either way, the subtle (or not so subtle) waist shaping creates a comfortable but universally flattering silhouette worn over anything from dresses and skirts to jeans and t-shirts.
